![]() ![]() The pool administrator does not say which games will be picked ATS, but instead each participant has the option of picking which games they are most confident will cover the spread and which games they are most confident in just a team winning. My favorite way to run this pool is to allow the participants to choose half of the games against the spread and the other half as a straight pick 'em pool. ![]() This is a very convenient way for the pool administrator to collect and share picks with all members of the pool. The file can then be saved, edited, emailed, uploaded to a website ect. Simply total up the number of games each person has picked correctly, the person with the highest total is the winner. Our Fillable Pick Sheets allow for the participants of your pool to choose their picks with the click of a mouse. I prefer to use the person that is simply the closest to the total points scored, as opposed to the closest without going over. The tiebreaker is to be used, if after every game(including the Monday night game) 2 or more people have picked the same amout of games correctly. Each person should also write their name and their guess for the total points scored in the Monday night game in the spaces provided. If they were to lose by 5 or more the pick would be incorrect.Įach participant should put a check mark in the box provided beside the team that they think will "cover the spread". The participant picks Cleveland at +4.5(underdog), Cleveland can either win, or lose the game by up to 4 points and the pick is correct. Keep in mind that if a person picks the underdog, that team does not have to win, but instead can not lose by more points than the point spread. We will always use half-point-spreads so that there will never be any pushes/ties. In this example, for a pick to be correct, the favorite must win by 5 or more points. The team that has the minus sign is favored by 4.5 points and the team with the plus sign is the underdog by 4.5 points. If this is the case we will come up with the spread ourselves, this will ensure you have the full week to get your pool entries in.īeside each team's name you will see something like -4.5 or +4.5. You will then pass copies out to potential participants of your pool, having each participant try to correctly pick which team will cover the spread.ĭue to not knowing whether a key player will be able to participate in a game, there are some instances where the linesmakers may delay releasing the spreads until later in the week. Every week, on either Sunday or Monday, we will update the next week's sheet with the current Point Spread for each game. Can anyone trust Kirk Cousins in big spots? He should be trustworthy, he's being paid $84 million over three years to win those games and he couldn't get it done on a big stage again. Our Spread 'Em pool is also known as an ATS or Against the Spread Pool. This was a "win and in" game for the Vikings, who couldn't produce enough on offense to handle a shorthanded Bears team. Things might have to change in Minnesota. But, man, it's hard not to love the Bears with how they handled business against the Vikings. I criticized it at the time and I believe you'd rather play Minnesota than Philadelphia, with Nick Foles conjuring his playoff voodoo. Bears coach Matt Nagy could have pulled his guys early and let the Vikings win and gotten Minnesota instead of Philadelphia in a playoff matchup. For a slight variation you can try our Week 10 Confidence Pool where participants rank their picks based on their confidence of the winning. You also have the option to customize the sheets by editing the title and by adding rules and prize information. It was the opposite of the Vikings game, a complete and utter disaster that could best be dubbed "The Minneapolis Meh-ricle" for how terrible Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense looked. Below you will find our Week 10 schedule/pick sheet. ![]() ![]() Indianapolis had a similar effort against the Titans, piling up points in an excellent effort in Tennessee, with Andrew Luck running his undefeated record against the Titans to even more impressive heights and bringing the Colts back to the playoffs in Frank Reich's first year as coach and Luck's first year back under center. It was cruise control from the get go, with the Chiefs scoring early and piling on points in a runaway win. The Chiefs left nothing to chance on Sunday afternoon, snuffing out any hope the Raiders might have had early and often, piling up the points and blasting their way to the first overall seed in the AFC and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. ![]()
